What are the reasons for low cold water pressure from a high-pressure washer?

The use of cold water high-pressure cleaning machines is becoming increasingly prevalent in China. With the increase in working pressure of high-pressure water cleaning machines, they are now widely used in various industries, such as in rust removal. However, under some harsh operating conditions, a common problem with cold water high-pressure cleaning machines after a period of use is low or no water pressure. Let's analyze the reasons for insufficient water pressure in high-pressure cleaning machines:
1. Severe wear and tear of the high-pressure nozzle in the cold water high-pressure cleaning machine. Excessive wear of the high-pressure nozzle will affect the water pressure of the equipment. The nozzle should be checked and replaced with a new one in a timely manner.
2. Kinks, bends, or damage to the high-pressure pipe or filter device can cause water flow obstruction, resulting in insufficient water pressure. Repairs should be carried out promptly.
3. Air in the high-pressure cleaning machine filter. The air in the filter should be purged to ensure standard water pressure output.
4. Leakage in the high and low pressure water seals and inlet/outlet check valves of the high-pressure cleaning machine leads to lower working pressure. These parts should be replaced promptly.
5. Insufficient inlet water flow to the connected equipment results in insufficient water flow and therefore insufficient output pressure. Sufficient inlet water flow should be supplied to resolve the issue of reduced water pressure.
6. Aging of the overflow valve in the high-pressure cleaning machine causes a large overflow of water flow and reduced pressure. The part should be replaced promptly when aging is detected.
7. Internal failure of the high-pressure pump, such as wear and tear of wearing parts, reduced water flow; blockage of internal pipelines, too little water flow, resulting in low pressure.
Power failure. If the power voltage is insufficient, it will affect the normal operation of the high-pressure pump motor, reducing the output power of the high-pressure pump and resulting in insufficient water pressure. Restoring the power will resolve this issue.
Aging of the high-pressure pump lubricating oil. Failure to replace the lubricating oil regularly will affect the operation of the high-pressure pump, and in severe cases, damage the core component, the three-plunger valve, resulting in insufficient water pressure. The high-pressure pump lubricating oil should be replaced regularly.
Check if the motor starts normally. If impure oil has been injected into the high-pressure pump, drain the oil from the pump and then inject high-pressure pump-specific oil.
Low or no water pressure in a cold water high-pressure cleaning machine will directly affect the cleaning effect and quality. When a pressure fault occurs, troubleshooting and processing should be carried out promptly to ensure that the cleaning work is not affected. Only in this way can the service life of the high-pressure cleaning machine be extended, and the long-term use of the equipment better ensured.
